Lake Mary, FL — April 12, 2023 — ProHawk Technology Group, Inc., a leading computer vision restoration technology and AI solutions provider, today announced it has launched the ProHawk Vision Server Nx Witness Plugin to seamlessly add powerful image pre-processing to any Network Optix Nx Witness VMS.
Powered by NVIDIA GPUs, ProHawk Vision Server can quickly fix low-quality video in as little as 3 milliseconds, resulting in output that is undetectable to the human eye. The ProHawk Vision Server Nx Witness Plugin automatically analyzes every frame of the video, identifies the real-world conditions caused by low light, weather, particulate matter, and lighting affecting each frame, and applies the appropriate controls to the ProHawk Vision Restoration algorithms to restore the frame and reverse any degradation. The mathematical model used for each pixel is based on quantitative measurements, enabling the ProHawk Vision Server Nx Witness Plugin to eliminate the environmental effects captured by the video sensors.
The ProHawk Vision Server Nx Witness Plugin uses patented ProHawk Vision algorithms that have been integrated into Nx Witness VMS Server and Client, allowing for smooth integration into Nx Witness video processing pipelines. This approach enables the ProHawk Vision Restoration algorithms to be incorporated into the pipeline right after the mixing stage, but before the primary inference detector. By utilizing ProHawk Vision’s pre-processing capabilities, Nx Witness VMS applications can achieve higher accuracy in AI confidence, recognition, detection, and tracking without the need for retraining the system.
